For me, being FREE means making decisions of my own free will or having the possibility to choose between different options without coercion. Ergo, how do I lead a self-determined life, in inner independence. For me, this also includes being FREE from habits, thought patterns and prejudices. All this can be used for a self-determined life and self-realisation.

 

We are free when we use our freedom. At this moment, we may make decisions about relationships, further development, jobs, self-employment, etc. This usually means taking risks, however. However, this usually also means taking risks, which in turn can lead to changes. Seeing the opportunities for positive developments here is a wonderful and challenging task.

 

The topic of personal development is my concern. It is primarily about orientation, support and a new direction or re-focusing. Coaching individuals is about clarity and the search for meaning in seemingly increasingly uncertain times. The focus is on your values, skills, resources and talents. Your drivers and motivators, and the forward-looking deeper self-knowledge of what is important to you.

 

In the field of consulting, I offer you, as an experienced manager of many years, my know-how for selected business issues such as change management, strategy, corporate management and control or finance and controlling.

  • Systemic and person-centred (according to C. Rogers) business & personal/life coaching

  • Rogers defines empathic understanding as a joint approach to the client's world of experience and as a processual and interactive process. The client realises that the coach is paying attention to them unconditionally and understanding them empathetically.

  • Selected focus areas are in particular self-reflection, personal development, family and organisational constellations, meditation and time-out stays, e.g. monastery & Buddhist approaches.

  • In consulting, I offer the following focal points, among others. Strategic analysis and (re)orientation, change management and transformation processes, corporate governance and management control, finance and controlling, SMEs and family businesses.

COACHING

In times of significant change and upheaval, in the so-called VUCA world (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous) or the Corona era, there are sometimes considerable understandable uncertainties. Changes are often accompanied by fears and ambiguities. Discovering the opportunities and possibilities here, finding personal balance, all this is a wonderful chance to develop further.

 

The field of coaching is very broad and regardless of trends and tendencies, it is about finding the "right" coaching for you. We will analyse your situation together and then address your issues in a targeted way, i.e. coaching is a tailor-made development measure, it is exclusively about your individual needs.

 

In principle, coaching takes place on the basis of an open personal consultation characterised by mutual acceptance and trust. The coachee chooses this voluntarily and the coach assures him/her of discretion. In principle, coaching takes place on an interactive basis and always at eye level....

 

The focus here is on promoting self-reflection and self-awareness, self-confidence and self-responsibility, on helping people to help themselves. So-called "blind spots" are overcome, new points of view come into view, so that new possibilities for action result from this.

 

In which of my multiple personalities am I acting and at what moment ...?

This question is asked by one of the founders of hypno-therapy, Gunther Schmidt. He means that we act in different roles, i.e. I act as a manager/leader, father/mother, husband/wife, brother/sister or in many other possible roles. Often, however, we are not aware of this and are surprised that our reactions are not appropriate to the person or behaviour. Diving into a personal reflection here can enrich and simplify your life considerably. This is one example of almost infinite possibilities.

In order to have a clear understanding of what coaching can and cannot do, the following points are examples:

  • No optimization of professional expertise, in contrast to consulting

  • The coach does not solve your issues and challenges, you can and will do that through Support and assistance of the coach

  • No lengthy analysis of negative experiences of the past

  • It is not a therapy of trauma or pathological disorders

How will the coaching work?

​

First we clarify the assignment or your expectations, this includes the content-related topics, your challenges, as well as the intensity, i.e. the time intervals in which we will see each other, in order to then finally turn to the content.

 

Different methods and approaches can be used here, depending on the situation. Possible contents of coaching have already been mentioned. In practice, it is not uncommon for coaching that started with a business aspect to spill over into the area of life/private coaching, where topics such as the relationship with the partner, the children etc. can play a role. 

​

Basically, coaching has the clear expectation that as soon as the goal has been reached, it will move into a

phase and the cooperation officially ends.

 

Of course, after this time it is always possible to start again according to your needs or to discuss other topics. 

 

For example, in order to successfully conduct business coaching at senior management level, one must know this and have successfully moved in this environment or still do so.
